3.3Adjusting the stop guide forthe edge trimmer

3.3.1 Pneum aticstop (optional)

Caution:Risk ofinjury!

Switch the m ainswitch off.

Adjustthe stop onlywiththe sew ing unitsw itched off.

Loosen screw 7.

Putstop3onthroatplate9.

–

Tighten screw 7.

C orrection ofthe lateraldistance to the sew ing foot1

The distance A tothe stop 3 should am ountto approx.0.2-0.3mm.

Loosen counternut8.

–

Turn knurl4 correspondingly.

–

Tighten counternut8.

C orrection ofthe edge trim m er 2 as to the sew ing foot

The distance B betw een the sew ing footand the edge trim m ershould

be approx.0.5 m m .The edge trimmerhastobealigned

correspondingly.

Shiftthe upperand low erknifelaterally.

C orrection ofthe speed ofthe forw ard and backw ard feeding

motion

The speed ofthe forw ard and backw ard feeding m otion isaltered at

the throttles 5 and 6.

Setthe speed ofthe forw ard feeding m otion w iththrottle6.

–

Setthe speed ofthe backw ard feeding m otion w iththrottle5.
