3.Contactpressure ofthe auxiliary roller
The conta c t p re s s u re o f the auxiliary roller6 is decisive forthe
constantfabric guide along the stop 7.
The contactpressure has tobeindividually setaccording tothe
materialtobeprocessed.

Feed the m aterialand startthe sew ing operation.
Ifthe m aterialisshifted aside fro m the stop 7 during the feed,the
conta c t p re s s u re istoo low .
Ifthe m aterialcurlsupatthe stop 7,the conta c t p re s s u re istoo high.
Increasing the contactpressure
–
Turn the setting screw 4 counte r-c lockw ise.
Reducing the contactpressure
–
Turn the setting screw 4 inclockw ise dire c tion.
Note
T h e p re s s u re o f the blow ing device 5 should notbe altered.
