2.6.10 Synchronous run -Top feed -A djustm entofthe reference position ofthe top feed-dog

Standard

The zero position ofthe top feed-dog step m otoris determ ined by the

re ference disk 2 w hich covers the proximityswitch w hen referencing.

C orrection

Setthe value 50 forthe basic position ofthe top feed inthe

program .

Actuatethe resetsw itch.

Now the feed ofthe top and the bottom feed-dog should be equal

during a m achine revolution.

In orderto check thissetting carefullyatestseam w ithtw o equally

long m aterialplies is sew n.

W hen the seam isfinished the fabric shouldbepreciselyflush at

the beginning and atthe end.

Ifthe upperm aterialplyistoo short,the feed ofthe top feed-dog is

moreintensive than thatofthe bottom feed-dog.

The feed ofthe top feed-dog has to be reduced.

Afteropening the clam ping nut1 the reference disk 2 has tobe

turned dow nw ards (aw ay fro m the proximityswitch)and fixed again

by the clam ping nut1.

Ifthe upperm aterialplyislongerthan the low erone,the feed ofthe

top feed-dog isinsufficient.

The feed ofthe top feed-dog has tobeincreased.

Afteropening the clam ping nutthe reference disk has tobeturned

dow nw ards and fixed againbythe clam ping nut.
