3.4 Parallelism of main clamp and sliding sheet

Caution: Danger of injury!

Switch the main switch off.

Check and adjust the transport clamps only with the sewing unit

switched off.

Standard and checking

The main clamp 1 must be in parallel position to the sliding sheet over

its whole length.

Move the clamp to the feeding position.

–

Place thin fabric under the clamping arms.

–

Close the main clamp.

–

Pull the fabric out to the side and check for equal distance.

Correction

–

Loosen the counternuts 2.

–

Adjust the pressure with the Allen screws 3.

–

Tighten the counternuts 2 again.
