Inspect the heater and check that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked as
this may cause overheating. Unplug the heater for 30 minutes and allow it to
cool down. Replug, operate and monitor the heater for signs of
overheating. If the problem continues, discontinue use of the heater and
contact customer service.

Turn the POWER to “OFF” and unplug the unit from the wall outlet for 30
minutes. Aer 30 minutes plug the unit back into wall outlet and operate as
normal. If the problem continues contact customer service.

Change the batteries in the remote control.
Poor signal.
Operate remote transmitter at a slow measured pace. Press the remote
control buttons with an even motion and gentle pressure. Repeatedly
pressing buttons in rapid succession may cause the transmitter to
malfunction.
Distance.
Operate the remote at a distance less than 20 feet from the front of the
appliance making sure to point the remote at the control panel.
Should I bring my lantern
inside if it rains?

It is not necessary to bring your lantern inside if it rains, but should your
lantern be subjected to rain, allow to fully dry before using.

Lantern is water resistant, but not water proof. Do not spray your lantern
with a direct stream of water.
Can I use my lantern in the
rain?

Is the remote water proof? Product Inquiry. No, the remote is best stored in a location protected from precipitation.
Can I leave my lantern
plugged in outdoors?

As long as the plug is sealed against the elements or protected, it is OK to
leave it plugged in.
Would sunlight harm the
