Using the DuoDeck™ Bracket to Install Palruf® Corrugated PVC Panels
for UnderDeck Applications (General Overview)

Tools Needed
Screwgun, 1/4" socket, tape measure, line
level and string, circular saw or tin snips.
Materials Needed
1" Woodtite fasteners, 2x2 purlins (wood or
metal), Palruf® Corrugated PVC panels,
DuoDeck Underdeck Brackets.
Before You Start
DETERMINE BRACKET ORIENTATION
Bracket Installation
ESTABLISH HIGH END OF DRAINAGE SLOPE
• Begin at rear of deck with outermost joists.
• Allow space for a 2x2 to slide inside bracket.
Secure with four 1" Woodtite fasteners per
bracket.
• Use a string level to install bracket on opposite,
outermost joist at the same level.

ESTABLISH LOW END OF DRAINAGE SLOPE
• Calculate correct slope and establish position
of low-end bracket (min. 1/4" in 4' slope).
• Install brackets at front of deck on
outermost joists.
• Complete installation of two outermost
rows of brackets by tying a string line
between the front and rear brackets. Use
taught stringline as a guide to install
brackets every 32" max. (or every
24" if joist spacing is 24").
• Complete installation of remaining
brackets by tying a string line
between the rst sets of brackets
on left and right. Use taught stringline
as a guide to install brackets
every 32" max. (or every 24" if joist
spacing is 24"). Repeat for each
row of brackets.
• Slide 2x2’s through inside of each
row of brackets. Secure with two
1" Woodtite fasteners per bracket.
RESULT: You’ll see even level rows of 2x2s
every 32" (or 24") which gradually step
down in height for desired drainage slope.
Panel Installation
• Orient panels label side down
(outermost corrugation up).
• Secure panels with 1" Woodtite fasteners
every other corrugation where corrugation
touches 2x2 purlin.
• Overlap panels by one corrugation.
(26" panels overlap to provide 24"
net coverage per panel.)
• Panel runs longer that 12' can be achieved
by overlapping panels end-to-end, with at
least 8" overlap (overlap must occur at purlin).
Finishing Options
• Overlap last panel more than one corrugation
or trim with tin shears/circular saw to t.
• Trimcoil and/or standard guttering system
may be installed for a more nished eect.
