2. Getting Started
The PRO Mini comes pre-configured and ready for use, just install the MPD Pack
and the supplied PCI-e (PCI-express) HBE (Host Bus Extender) card, connect
the cables and install the software driver and RAID Console.
2.1. Packaging
Please do not discard the boxes and packing materials in case you
might need to reuse them later. Always ship the product in its original
packaging. Improperly packaged products will be subjected to shipping
damage, for which you will be liable for the repair.
2.2. Check List
• Installation and User’s Manual (this manual)
• Pre-Configuration Sheet (specifies pre-configured for Mac or Windows)
• Installation CD ROM (contains OS Drivers and RAID Manager)
• Power Cord (North America user only)
• Pro Mini system enclosure/chassis
• MPD Pack with 8 disk drives installed
• PCI-e x8 Host Bus Extender card
• 1-meter PCI-e x8 Interface Cable (3 and 7 meters optional)
