If there is no picture appearance, broken glass , smoking or something smells after applying shock to the monitor, turn off the monitor and disconnect the power plug from the mains immediately. Then, call the service center. If you continue to operate the monitor with such abnormal conditions, it may cause fire or you may receive an electric shock.

When installing the monitor, use the optional Desk-top Stand (651-61 or 651-62), Wall Mount Unit (horizontal-mount) 495-38. The Desk-top Stand has been used for the illustrations in this manual. Caution when moving the main unit Handgrips • As this product is heavy, whenever it is moved, two people are required to transport it safely. • Whenever the unit is moved it should be lifted forwards using the two handgrips at the back, and the unit should then be held at the base on both sides for stability. (For RGB input only) • While the guidance is on display, press the key to narrow the difference between darkness and brightness.

If the symptoms remain uncorrected, contact your dealer. WARNING • Customer servicing can be hazardous. Symptom Point to check • No picture with the powerindicating lamp off. • Check the way the power cable is connected. • Press the power switch. • The message “POWER SAVE” is displayed. No sync signal is detected.
