Specifications

The special purpose dual patient station is used with a bed safety rail communication system.
A pillow speaker can be substituted for the bed communication system. The patient can
place a call to the master station through the bed rail system. Calls from this station are indi-
cated at the master station, the duty stations, and the corresponding corridor and zone lights.
A call is canceled by pressing the CANCEL touchpad at the patient station, or by answering
the call at the master station and communicating with the patient through the bed communi-
cations panel.
Removal of the bed communications cord sets off an emergency call at the master
station. The call is canceled by replacing the bed communications cord, pillow speaker,
or dummy plug (supplied by the bed manufacturer) and pressing CANCEL touchpad.
When the cord is unplugged, two-way communication reverts to the station’s
speaker/microphone.
