Locating a Station in Distress
Press the ZONE pushbutton to exit zone monitoring, if in operation, then press each
remote station button sequentially while pausing briefly to monitor the activities of
each station.
Monitoring Notes:
— You can talk to remote stations in the monitored zone by removing the handset
from the cradle and speaking into the handset. Return the handset to its cradle
when finished; zone monitoring is automatically canceled.
— Incoming calls annunciate normally during monitoring. Answer the call by
pressing the ZONE button to cancel zone monitoring, then pressing the
numbered button next to the flashing LED (or lifting the handset and pressing
the numbered button next to the flashing LED).
— Incoming audio can be adjusted during monitoring. (See Volume Level
Control on page 13.)
The handset on the master station can be used to page one zone or all remote stations
in the system capable of receiving audio. The optional paging equipment must be
present in the system, and the master station must be programmed for the paging
functions.
Paging All Stations
1. Remove the handset from its cradle.
2. Press the ALL PAGE pushbutton. The LED next to the ALL PAGE pushbutton
lights.
3. Make the page announcement using the handset.
4. Return the handset to its cradle or press the ALL PAGE pushbutton again when
finished making the page. The LED next to the ALL PAGE pushbutton goes out.
Paging a Zone
1. Remove the handset from its cradle.
2. Press the ZONE pushbutton. The LED next to the pushbutton lights.
3. Press any remote station pushbutton within that zone. The LEDs of all remote sta-
tions in that zone will light (see Monitoring Notes above).
