Specifications
Up to eight preassigned zones, with up to 10 remote (patient, staff, and staff/duty) audio
stations in each zone, can be monitored from the master station. During monitoring, the
LED indicators of the monitored stations light on the master station. The privacy LED
lights on the remote stations being monitored. The volume level of the incoming audio
can be adjusted at the master station (see Volume Level Control below).
Volume Level Control
Incoming audio can be adjusted during monitoring by rotating the volume control on
the left side panel of the master station until the sound coming through the speaker is
at the desired level.
Note:
This adjustment has no effect on the handset volume.
Monitoring a Remote Station
1. To monitor a remote station, press the pushbutton corresponding to the desired re-
mote station. The remote station LED on the master station lights. The red privacy
LED on the patient (or staff, or staff/duty) station also lights.
2. Use either the handset or the microphone/speaker to monitor the station.
3. Return the handset to its cradle or press the remote station pushbutton again to end
monitoring.
Monitoring a Zone of Remote Stations
1. Make sure the handset is in its cradle.
2. Press the ZONE pushbutton.
3. Press the numbered button of any remote station in the zone you wish to monitor.
This lights the LEDs of all remote stations in that zone. You will now hear audio
from all of these stations through the microphone/speaker.
4. Press ZONE again to end zone monitoring.
