Possible malfunctions:
Fault Removal/remedial action
Broken thread Thread the needle thread,  Section 5.2.4, then continue
sewing,  Section 5.8.7
Bobbin is empty Insert a new bobbin,  Section 5.2.5, wind thread onto a
bobbin,  Section 5.8.1
A sewing program
cannot be selected
- Are the reflector strips on the rear side of the transfer plate
all present and intact? Re-attach if necessary
- Code code on the transfer plate is incompatible, see
 Section 5.2.6, change the shape assembly or load a
new program
- Light sensor on the machine is dirty and the code on the
transfer plate cannot be read, clean the light sensor and
perform referencing again
Thread monitor signals
a fault
The needle thread is probably broken, check and re-thread if
necessary, see  Section 5.2.4, then continue sewing,
 Section 5.8.7
The stacker is not
stacking
Reference to menu 2, is a stacker really activated?,
 Section 5.7.7
Pocket blanks are not
folded
Deactivate sewing without edge folding,  Section 5.7.2
Machine proceeds for-

step
Deactivate Work step by step,  Section 5.7.1
Transmission to DAC
failed
Connection to the control system cannot be established.
Deactivate the EMERGENCY STOP devices, otherwise
contact a service technician
Error 3121 Error text: Compressed air pressure too low or not con-
nected; check the compressed air connection and pressure
Error 5302 Error text: Seam program contour data too large;
Select a different seam program or load a new seam pro-
gram
Error 9116 Error text: Unknown pocket form;
Select a different seam program or load a new seam pro-
gram
Error 9170 Error text: No transfer plate;
Fit a compatible transfer plate,  Section 5.2.6, then per-
form referencing on the machine anew
Error 9180 No technology point for switching the transfer plate;
Select a different seam program
Error 9221 Error text: Pushbutton pressed too long;
