Check the oil levels WEEKLY:
Checking the oil
levels
1. Perform at least 20 sewing cycles to evenly distribute the oil in the
machine.
2. Check the oil level in oil reservoir 1.
3. If the oil level lies between MIN and MAX then no further action must
be taken.
4. If the oil level is at MIN or lower: Check the oil level in oil reservoir 2.
5. If the oil level in oil reservoir 2 is above MAX do not top up with oil -
perform an additional 20 sewing cycles instead and then check the oil
level again.

6. If the oil level in reservoir 2 is at MIN then the oil must be topped up.
7. Top up the oil via the oil filling neck on oil reservoir 1 until MAX is
reached.
8. Remove any overflow oil from the oil pan.
9. Check the oil feed in reservoir 1 - bubbles must be visible when the
machine is running.

5.12 Troubleshooting table
The table below lists typical error displays or problems. These are usually
quickly rectified. To allow restoration of normal operation, the possible
causes of error messages and problems are listed and information on cor-
recting the errors is provided.
Two types of error messages are displayed on the operating terminal:
• Error messages that can be acknowledged by pressing the
Confirm button, which then allows sewing to continue.
• Error messages that can be acknowledged by pressing the
Confirm but which require the machine to be referenced
anew, Section 5.2.1, before sewing can continue.
