3. If necessary, release the screw (1) on the needle bar using an SW 1.5
hex key.
4. Slide the new needle into the guide as far as it will go, with the groove
facing to the right of the operator as illustrated above.
5. Tighten the screw (1) on the needle bar.
Proceed in the reverse sequence to remove a needle. The procedure for
threading the needle thread is described in Section 5.2.4 Threading
the needle thread.
5.8.5 Changing the shaping assembly
Different shaping assemblies are required for each seam program.
A shaping assembly consists of:
Edge folding frame
Middle slide
Hose insert (806N-121 only)
Transfer plate
The procedure for fitting or replacing the individual parts is described in
Section 5.2.6 Fitting/changing the shaping assembly.
5.8.6 Changing the bobbin
The procedure for replacing the bobbin is described in Section 5.2.5
Inserting/changing the bobbin.
5.8.7 Sewing after thread breakage
As already described in Section 5.7.5 , the machine generates an error
message when the needle thread breaks. The following process is per-
formed when the thread monitor detects a thread breakage:
