5.6.6 Initiating a change of shape
Different shaping assemblies are required for each seam program.
A shaping assembly consists of:
Edge folding frame
Middle slide
Hose insert (806N-121 only)
Transfer plate
The procedure for fitting or replacing the individual parts is described in
Section 5.2.6 Fitting/changing the shaping assembly.
5.7 Setting options on user interface 2
Settings in Menu 2 can only be performed between two sewing cycles.
Menu 2 cannot be accessed when the machine is active. Activated but-
tons are highlighted in green.
Some of the settings available in Menu 2 are optional extras. These but-
tons are still present when the optional extras are not present but these
have no function and do not change their appearance.
You access Menu 2 as follows:
1. Navigate to Menu 1, Section 4.2.1 Structure of the operating
software and Section 5.2.1 Making the basic settings.
2. In Menu 1 press the Global parameters button .
Menu 2 opens.
5.7.1 Working step-by-step
The machine stops after each working sub-step. This setting is useful for
checking modified machine settings.
You activate the Work step-by-step mode as follows:
1. Navigate to Menu 2.
2. Press the Work step-by-step button .
The button is now highlighted in green. In the next sewing cycle the
machine stops after the first working sub-step. The button is displayed
in Menu 1.
3. Press the Work step-by-step button again to deactivate this
mode.
The button is no longer highlighted in green. The machine does not
stop in the next sewing cycle.
