2. Press the 2-pocket mode button .
 The selection window for the seam program appears on the touch-
screen.

The code for identifying the transfer plate is shown on the right side.
The Start key is flashing.
Seam program
cannot be
selected
If no pocket seam program can be selected in the selection window for
the seam program, then this could be due to several reasons.
Remedial action:
• Clean the light sensor on the machine. In the event of contamination,
the code cannot be read correctly.
• Check the code on the rear side of the transfer plate. Are the reflector
strips still complete and in good order?
• Replace the transfer plate or the entire shaping assembly  Section
5.2.6 Fitting/replacing the shaping assembly if the coding of the sew-
ing programs and the transfer plate do not match.
• Load a new pocket sewing program,  Service instructions for the
806N, if the sewing program is not compatible with the transfer plate.
