8. Turn the screw handle (2) to the right until the coupling strip (4) is
securely connected to the edge folding frame.
 The edge folding frame is now inserted.
Step 3:
To menu 1
This is how you get to menu 1 again:
1. Press the Confirm button on the shape change screen.
 You will hear a short clicking sound. The parts in the edge folding sta-
tion are secure and rigid again. The machine is in secure hold; the
initial screen appears on the touchscreen.
2. In order to access the sewing cycle, proceed as described in
 Section 5.2.1 Making the basic settings.
5.3 Carrying out a test run
You can perform the sewing cycle once, step-by-step, to check that every-
thing is correctly fitted and adjusted.
You can perform a step-by-step sewing cycle as follows:
1. Navigate to Menu 1,  Section 4.2.1 Structure of the operating
software and  Section 5.2.1 Making the basic settings.
2. In Menu 1 press the Global parameters button .
3. In Menu 2 press the Work step by step button .
 The button is now highlighted in green. The button is also displayed in
Menu 1.
4. Press Manual button 1 to move one step forwards.
5. Press Manual key 2 to move one step backwards.
Each step is executed individually in this manner. You must deactivate the
Work step by step button in Menu 2 in order to return to normal oper-
ation.
Risk of crushing due to pneumatic parts.
The use of compressed air produces strong forces
on the moving parts. If your fingers or hands get in
between the parts, this could result in minor to mod-
erate injuries.
 NEVER reach into the area of moving parts.
