Initiating
a change
of shape
This is how you initiate a change of shape:
1. Navigate to Menu 1,  Section 4.2.1 Structure of the operating soft-
ware and  Section 5.2.1 Making the basic settings.
Navigation

Navigation to menu 1 is not possible
If you are currently at the Initial screen then you must navigate through
the basic settings until reaching Menu 1,  Section 5.2.1. If this is not
possible because a seam program cannot be selected then you must
"trick" the machine into accepting the current configuration. Manipulate
the code on the transfer plate used by masking the numbers such that
a suitable seam program can be selected. In this way, you can access
menu 1 and will be able to initiate the change of shape. After that, do not
forget to move the manipulated transfer plate back to its initial condition.
2. In Menu 1 press the Change shape button .
 This interface appears:

Risk of crushing due to pneumatic parts.
The use of compressed air produces strong forces
on the moving parts. If your fingers or hands get in
between the parts, this could result in minor to mod-
erate injuries.
 NEVER reach into the area of moving parts.
