5.2.1 Making the basic settings
Without making the basic settings via the software, the prerequisite condi-
tions for smooth operation cannot be created.
When the machine is switched on,  Section 5.1 Switching on the
machine, the operation display also starts up. The operating program
starts automatically and you will see the initial screen:

To be able to sew pockets on using the machine, you first have to select
the pocket mode and the pocket seam program. You will then find yourself
in menu 1 and you will be able to work on the machine without any further
settings.
