5 Operating instructions
The 806N sewing unit is system for automatically sewing on pockets. The
operating sequence on the 806N consists of several different steps. Fault-
free operation is necessary in order to achieve a good sewing result.
In the following, the steps are listed in chronological order. The structure
of the section is oriented towards this sequence.
Operating sequence for the 806N:
• Switching on the machine
• Preparing the machine for operation
• Making the basic settings
• Inserting the thread reel
• Checking the needle
• Check the needle thread
• Check the bobbin
• Checking the shaping assembly
• Optional: Carrying out a test run
• Running through a sewing cycle
(diverse settings for the operating software and on the machine are
possible)
• Insert the basic part and pocket blank
• Edge folding process
• Transfer process
• Sewing process
• Rolling out and stacking of the material to be sewn
• Remove the material to be sewn
• Cleaning
• Switching off the machine
