Detailed description of the keys
The manual keys and the foot switch are used to operate the machine.
A description of the function can be found in the table below in addition to
the illustration and designation of the keys.
4.1.3 Sewing unit
If everything is performed correctly on the edge-folding station, the trans-
fer frame (3) of the sewing unit moves to the edge folding station. The fab-
ric parts are transported from the edge folding station to the sewing unit by
means of the transfer plate (4). The sewing head (1) lowers here and the
fabric parts are sewn together. You do not need to do anything on the sew-
ing unit, since the machine works fully automatically here.

Key Designation Function
Manual key 1 Manual key 1 (on the left side):
– Starts a sewing cycle
– Activates the air suction for the basic
part and pushes the middle slide into
the front position
– Navigates stitch by stitch to the correct
point after a thread breakage
Manual key 2 Manual key 2 (on the right side):
– Lowers the middle slide into the front
position
– Raises the middle slide into the front
position
Foot switch Foot switch:
– Activates the air suction for the basic
part
– Moves the middle slide into the front
position
