4 806N device description
The 806N sewing unit is system for automatically sewing on pockets. The
correct operating principle involves a sequence of different steps and
requires precise knowledge of all operating controls.
4.1 806N sewing unit
The 806N sewing unit is illustrated in the figure below. The location of its
individual components and its operating principle are described here.

Operating principle of the 806N
The machine must first be switched on by the main switch (5) in order to
start up the operating terminal (1). The basic settings are then made by
means of the software. The fabric parts to be sewn, the base part and the
pocket blank are then aligned on the edge folding station (2). The auto-
matic sequence is then started.
The pocket blank (edge) is folded at the edge folding station (2) and then
transported to the sewing unit (3), where the folded pocket blank is sewn
onto the base part. Finally, the finished sewn product is deposited on the
stacker (6) from where it can be removed whenever necessary.


