8.5.2 Sewing process
1. Set the fullness ( page 95).
2. Set the curve support.
3. Input the values for needle thread tension and stitch length.
4. Push the pedal forwards and sew.
 The length in mm sewn in the seam is displayed.
When the thread is cut off, the display is reset.
Changing parameters during the seam
1. Move the pedal to the 0 position.
2. Change the desired parameter on the control panel ( page
94).
3. Push the pedal forwards and sew.
 The seam will be sewn using the altered parameter value.
Parameters Meaning
Needle Stop Position Up When sewing stops the needle position is
up (activated) or down (not activated)
Foot Stroke Alternation Presser foot alternation whilst the needle is
in the seam
Value range: 0 ... 2.5 mm
Foot Pressure Presser foot pressure
Value range: 1 ... 10
Backtack at Start Backtack at start of the seam on
(activated) or off (not activated)
Backtack at End Backtack at end of the seam on (activated)
or off (not activated)
Thread Trim Thread cutoff at end of the seam on
(activated) or off (not activated)
