5.3 Manual Sewing (MAN)

With manual operation, the seamstress preselects the

bunching value.

The seam length (mm) is automatically displayed on the screen

during sewing.

The selection of the “MANUAL” function screen occurs by pressing

the F1 soft key in the “AUTOMATIC” main screen.

5.3.1 Changing the Bunching Value

The change of the bunching value

can occur in two different manners:

a) The bunching value is entered as desired with the

to keys of the key panel (Chapter 5.3.2). A step-wise

correction of +/- 0.5 can occur with the additional foot pedal.

b) The bunching value is changed continuously only with the

additional foot pedal. A corresponding display bar is shown in the

screen.

The keys to of the key panel are not operative.
