4. Calling Up the Test and Check Programs
After the machine is turned on the controls are initialized and the
machine program is automatically called up. If, during the display of
the DA logo, one of the 5 soft keys is pressed, then further programs
can be activated.

With the F1 soft key, a program section w ith which the machine
configuration can be altered is called up. As a rule, changes in t he
machine configuration lead to mechanical conversions. For safety
reasons, this program section is thus only accessible via the entry of a
special code number.
Via the F2 soft key, the machine-specific check programs are
activated. These check programs are necessary for the setting and
inspection of individual machine components.
The Multitest system, which is integrated in all controls, is called up
via the F3 soft key.
A self-test of the terminal can be selected via the F4 soft key.
The selection of the contrast setting of the screen is conducted via the
F5 soft key.
