2. Operating Elements of the Cl. 550-16-26
2.1 Right Pedal - “Sewing Drive”
The pedal has 16 different positions. It controls the speed of the
sewing drive on the one hand and the thread trimming procedure on
the other.

Forward Step 1-12 Speed setting

Base position Step 0 Positioning in
pos.1 or pos.2
Lower the sewing foot

Back 1 Step -1 Lift the sewing foot
·
Back 2 Step -2 Trim the thread
2.2 Additional Left Pedal - “Correction Value”
With this pedal the bunching value can be corrected within a step. As
soon as the next step is called up via the knee switch, the correction
value is invalidated. (Automatic operation)
2.3 Knee switch
With the knee switch one can advance from one step cycle to the
next.
