Thegaincontrolisusedtoobtainthebestpossiblematch
betweentheheadunitaudiooutputandtheamplifierinput.
• Beginbyturningtheinputlevelcontrolfully
counterclockwise.
• Next,turnuptheheadunitvolumecontrolaround3/4
ofthewayup.
• Adjusttheinputlevelcontrolclockwiseuntilaudible
distortionisheard,thenslightlycounterclockwiseto
providethebestmatch.
• Repeatforallinputlevelcontrols.
Thelowpassfilterisalwaysenabled,allowingonlybass
frequenciestooutputfromthesubwoofer.TurntheX-OVER
FREQknobtoadjustthebassfrequency.
Thesubsonicfilterlimitsverylowfrequenciesfrombeing
senttothesubwoofer.TurntheSUBSONIC FILTERknob
toadjustthefrequencyofbassthatisfilteredout.Match
thissettingwiththelowendfrequencyresponseofyour
subwoofer.
Changesthefrequencyatwhichthebassboostfunctionwill
provideitsincrease.TurntheBASS FREQknobclockwise
tocenterthebassboostaroundhigherfrequenciesor
counterclockwisetocenterthethebassboostaroundlower
frequencies.
Increasesthevolumeofbassbyavariableamount,
centeredatthebassfrequencyadjustment.TurntheBASS
BOOSTknobclockwisetoincreasethevolumeofthebass.
Adjustthiscontrolwithcaution,asimproperusecan
damagespeakers.
TheLEDindicatorilluminatesgreenduringnormal
operation(POWER)andredwhentheamplifierdetectsa
fault(PROTECT).
When the remote bass control is connected, turning the
knobwilladjustthegainoftheamplifier.Connectthe
remote bass control connector to the amplifier.
Important:TurntheGainonthesidepaneloftheamplifier
toMAXtoallowtheremotebasscontroltofunction
properly.
