NOTE:
AvoidusingthePowerButton(“hold4+seconds”feature)toturnoffthelaptop—
thisformofhardwareshutdownisintendedtobeameansofrecoveryfrom
lockups,andnotasnormaloperation.
OPERATION
Powering ON and OFF
ToactivatetheLT320,pushandquicklyreleasethePowerButton.Thedisplaywillcome
oninafewseconds.ToputtheLT320inStandbymode,pushandquicklyreleasethe
PowerButton.ToturntheLT320offforextendedstorage,poweroffsafelyusingany
softwarefunctionthat“shutsdowncomputer”providedinthesoftwareoperating
system.
Start Up
Ifthepowerup(fromStandbymodeorotherwise)issuccessful,theappropriate
interfacewillbedisplayedafteralaunchsequenceofseveralseconds.Thewireless
LANconnectionmaytake10‐15secondstobeestablished.
Configuring the Rugged Laptop
TheLT320maybeconfiguredusingtheutilitiesandmethodsdictatedbythe
softwareoperatingsystem.TheLT320shouldbeconfigurableforvariousproperties
suchasuserprofiles,networkfeatures,andseveralsystemelements.
Covert the LT320
1. Unlockthelatchtoreleasethekeyboardfromthescreen
2. Gentlypulloutthekeyboard
3. Rotatethekeyboardagainstthebackofthescreen
NOTE:
Toconservepower,use(pushandquickrelease)thePowerButtontoputthe
laptopin“Standby”modewhilenotinuse.Pushingbrieflyonthesamebutton
willwakeupthesystemwithinseconds.
NOTE:
Whenthebatterypackischarging,theblueBatteryLEDshouldblinkslowly.
IfpluggingintheAC‐DCadapterdoesnottriggerthisblinkingactivityandthe
LEDstaysdark,thebatterypack(s)mayhavebeendrainedsubstantially.Try
unplugging/repluggingtheAC‐DCadaptertotheLT320afewtimestoactivate
thechargingprocess.

Thebatterypackshippedwithyourlaptopmaybelowinpower—pleaseusethe
AC‐DCadapterwiththeLT320whensettingupforthefirsttimetofullycharge
thebatterypack,orusetheoptionalbatterychargerkit.
