If the product becomes wet, leave it
unpacked. Wipe down, clean, and dry the product
(at not more than 40 °C/ 104°F), transport case,
foam inserts, and accessories. Pack up the equip-
ment only when it is perfectly dry.
When using the product in the field always close the
transport case.
Batteries
• Refer to Technical Data for information about
storage temperature range.
• A storage temperature range of 0°C to +20°C /
+32°F to +68°F in a dry environment is recom-
mended to minimize self-discharging of the
battery.
• At the recommended storage temperature
range, batteries containing a 10% to 50%
charge can be stored for up to one year. After
this storage period the batteries must be
recharged.
• Remove batteries from the product and the
charger before storing.
• After storage recharge batteries (NiMH) before
using.
• Protect batteries from damp and wetness. Wet
or damp batteries must be dried before storing
or use.
