Step 4: Operation of iPod (Authentication process)

Check the oscillation
circuit.

Replace IC481.
When CPDT and CPCK are
normal operation = High (3.3V).
Connect iPod, and communicate
it about 10 seconds later
(authentication starts).
And communicate it about 60
seconds later (authentication is
complete).
CPREADY becomes High (3.3V) just after the iPod connection.
It becomes Low for authentication start (about 10 seconds later)
It becomes High again for authentication completion (about 60
seconds later).

Check the path between
IC401 (pin 108).
