Ƒ Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from the wire ends.

Ƒ Connect the glossy live wire from the xture to the black wire

from the outlet box, and the rough neutral wire from the xture

to the white wire from the outlet box.

Ƒ The bare copper ground wire from the xture must loop

one turn under the head of the green ground screw (FF) on

the mounting strip (AA) before it is connected to the ground

conductor of the supply circuit.

Ƒ Cover the wires with wire connectors (GG). Tape the wire

connectors (GG) and wires together, and carefully position all

wires inside the outlet box.

Ƒ Raise the canopy (A) all the way up to the ceiling, and tighten

the ring (II) onto the screw collar loop (HH) until the canopy (A)

is rmly held against the ceiling.

Ƒ Install the light bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Use ve

60-watt candelabra base (E12) type “B” bulbs.

NOTE: You can also use five 9W maximum candelabra

base (E12) self-ballasted LED bulbs (sold separately). Do

not exceed the recommended wattage.

NOTE: The glossy live wire has the text printed on it;

the rough neutral wire has the ridge on it.
