Pre-Installation PLANNING INSTALLATION Read all instructions before installing. To avoid damaging this product, place it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard. IMPORTANT: Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have occurred during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not attempt installation. Installation 1 Ƒ 2 Preparing the mounting strip Ƒ Screw the threaded tube (CC) into the mounting strip (AA), and secure it using the lock washer (EE) and hex nut (DD). Installing the mounting strip Fasten the mounting strip (AA) onto the outlet box using two outlet box screws (BB). NOTE: The threaded tube (CC) should extend long enough to protrude through the canopy, when it is mounted. (Adjust as needed.
Installation (continued) 5 Ƒ Hook the wood strands E Hook one end of the 12 wood bead strand (E) onto the hole of the cap of top of the fixture body (D) and the other end onto the hook of top of the frame of the fixture body (D) as shown on the diagram. Ƒ Repeat this step on the remaining 12 wood bead strands. Ƒ Hook one end of the 27 wood bead strand (F) onto the hook of bottom of the frame of the fixture body (D) and the other end onto the hole of the cap (H) as shown on the diagram.
Installation (continued) 8 Making the electrical connections Ƒ Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from the wire ends. Ƒ Connect the glossy live wire from the fixture to the black wire from the outlet box, and the rough neutral wire from the fixture to the white wire from the outlet box. Ƒ The bare copper ground wire from the fixture must loop one turn under the head of the green ground screw (FF) on the mounting strip (AA) before it is connected to the ground conductor of the supply circuit.
Care and Cleaning Ƒ Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry, soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully. Ƒ To clean the fixture, disconnect power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Use a dry or slightly dampened, clean cloth to wipe the exterior surface of the fixture. Troubleshooting Problem Possible Cause Solution The lights will not turn on. The bulb is burned out. The power is off. There is a faulty switch.

Instalación 1 Ƒ 2 Instalación de la regleta de montaje Preparación de la regleta de montaje Ƒ Enrosque el tubo roscado (CC) en la regleta de montaje (AA) y fíjelo con la arandela de seguridad (EE) y la tuerca hexagonal (DD). Fije la regleta de montaje (AA) en la caja de distribución mediante dos tornillos de la caja de distribución (BB). OBSERVACIÓN: Cuando se instale, el tubo roscado (CC) debe sobresalir lo justo por la base. (Ajústelo según sea necesario).
Instalación (continuación) 5 Ƒ Cómo colgar las tiras de madera Ƒ Repita este paso con las tiras de 12 cuentas de madera restantes. Ƒ Cuelgue un extremo de la tira de 27 cuentas de madera (F) en el gancho de la parte inferior del marco del cuerpo de la lámpara (D) y el otro extremo en el orificio del casquillo (H) como se muestra en el diagrama.
Instalación (continuación) 8 Realización de las conexiones eléctricas GG Ƒ Pele unos 2 cm del aislamiento de los extremos de los cables. Ƒ Conecte el cable vivo lustroso de la lámpara al cable negro de la caja de distribución y el cable neutro rugoso de la lámpara al cable blanco de la caja de distribución.
Mantenimiento y limpieza Ƒ No emplee productos de limpieza que contengan químicos, disolventes ni abrasivos. Utilice únicamente un paño seco para quitar el polvo o limpiar con cuidado. Ƒ Para limpiar la lámpara, desconecte la alimentación apagando el disyuntor del circuito o retirando el fusible de la caja de fusibles. Utilice un paño suave seco o ligeramente mojado para limpiar la superficie exterior de la lámpara. Reparación de averías Problema Posible causa Solución Las luces no se encenderán.
