Installation (continued)

□ Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from the wire ends.

□ Connect the black wire from the xture to the black wire from the outlet box, then connect the white wire from the xture to the

white wire from the outlet box.

□ Connect the bare copper ground wire from the canopy (D) to the bare copper ground wire from the xture and the ground wire

from the outlet box. The bare copper ground wire from the canopy must loop one turn under the head of the green ground screw

(CC) on the mounting plate (AA) before it is connected to the ground conductor of the supply circuit.

□ Cover the wires with wire connectors (DD). Tape the wire connectors (DD) and wires together, and carefully position all wires and

safety cables (K) inside the outlet box.

Installing the glass shades

□ Unscrew the socket ring (H) from the socket of the xture body

(J), place the glass shade over the socket and secure with the

socket ring.

□ Repeat this step for the other glass shades.

Assembling the canopy to the

mounting plate

□ Place the canopy (D) over the mounting plate (AA), align the

holes of the canopy (D) and the holes of the mounting plate

(AA), and then tighten the four support screws (short) (GG).
