After use
1. Turn the device off after every use by setting the red On/Off switch to “O”.
The red control light and the yellow unit control light will turn off.
2. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket after every use.
3. Allow the unit to cool off completely and empty the water tank as described
under “Care/Maintenance” before you stow the unit.
4. If necessary, clean the terry cloth pads as described under “Care/Maintenance”.
Care/Maintenance
• Never submerge the steam cleaner in water.
• Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Never put decalcier or the like in the steam cleaner.
• After using the device, empty the water tank in order to prevent
premature calcication!
1. Switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the electrical socket.
2. Allow the device to cool off completely before you clean it or empty out the
water tank.
3. Open the safety lid as described under “Adding water”.
The water may still be hot. Danger of scalding!
4. Turn the device over and pour the remaining water in the water tank down a
drain.
Never ll the water tank with decalcier or the like. Approx. once a month, pour a
small amount of water into the water tank and shake it back and forth in order to
dissolve any calcication deposits. Then empty it out completely. Allow the steam
cleaner to dry with its water tank open.
When needed, wipe the device with a damp cloth and if necessary, using a small
amount of cleaning agent.
Cleaning the terry cloth pads
You can wash the terry cloth pads in the washing machine at 40 °C. Do not use any
bleaching agents!
