Adding water

If the unit was already in use, pay attention to the following points:

1. If the unit has already been used, turn it off and disconnect the mains plug from

the socket. Then allow the unit to cool off for at least 20 minutes before you ll it

with water.

Warning: Not following this step may result in injury. If you ll the

hot steam reservoir with cold water, it is possible that hot water

and steam may shoot out of the tank spout. Danger of scalding!

1. Fold the cover on the water ll spout up (Fig.).

2. Press the safety lid down, hold it in place and then AT

THE SAME TIME turn it counterclockwise (Fig.). Remove

the safety lid.

3. Pour out any water still left in the tank so as not to

exceed the maximum volume of 650 ml.

• Danger of scalding! Never open the cap of the tank while

the unit is running! When the content of the tank is empty

disconnect the unit and wait min. 20 minutes until the water

 inthetankiscooled.Onlyaftercoolingrellthetank.

• Neverllthetankwithmorethan650mlofwater!

• NEVERllthetankwithliquidsotherthanwater!

• Press before every Opening of the tank the switch for leaving

discharge the pressure in the unit.

• Leave the unit never in work without water in the tank. If

there is no steam any more, imediately switch off the unit

and disconnect the unit from the socket.
