Turn the device off, disconnect the plug from the socket and allow it to
cool off completely, ....
... when you are not using the device for a prolonged period of time,
... before a storm
... before lling it with water or before cleaning the unit,
... before changing the adapters or terry cloth pads,
... or before putting the unit away.
When you remove the mains plug from the socket, never pull on the
cable, but on the plug.
Only have a damaged connecting cable repaired by the manufacturer,
customer service or a qualied professional.
Never leave the appliance unattended during use! Turn the unit off and
disconnect the mains plug from the socket before you leave the room.
Never steam other electronic devices!
Never store the unit outdoors!
Fire hazard
Lay the cable such that it is not crushed or creased and such that it does
not come into contact with hot surfaces.
Keep the device and the cord away from heat sources e.g. radiators and
the like.
Attention to material damages
Always use the measuring beaker and never ll the tank with more than
650 ml!
Never transport or move the unit by pulling by the cord or carrying it by
the cord.
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the
appliance. These can damage the surface of the appliance. As needed, clean
the appliance with a soft, dry towel.
When trying out the device for the rst time, do so in an inconspicuous
area. If you are uncertain as to whether the surface could be damaged by
the steam, please consult a professional.
Ensure that the cord or the hose is never crushed or kinked or that it
comes into contact with hot surfaces.
Never ll up the unit with any kind of additives such as cleaners,
decalciers (e.g. vinegar), alcohol or aromatic chemicals!
Do not insert any objects in the unit’s openings/nozzles and ensure that
they are not blocked.
