2. Insert the mains plug into a mains socket and wait about 60 seconds until the appliance has
reached operating temperature.
3. Move the On/Off switch to the I position.
4. Lower the handle and thus the main unit slightly toward the oor to activate the pump.
When the pump is activated, the pump noises are audible and steam emerges from the
bottom of the cleaning foot.
5. Now move slowly back and forth across the surface to be cleaned.
6. For achieving perfect cleaning results, the micro bre cloth has to warm up with steam. After
approximately 30 seconds, the steam will have completely heated up the micro bre cloth
which is now capable of delivering full cleaning performance
7. If you want to change or wash out the oor cloth, bring the appliance into a vertical position
and wait until no more steam emerges from the bottom of the cleaning foot. Switch off the
steam mop by turning the On/Off switch to the 0 position and remove the mains plug from
the mains socket. Wait a few minutes so that the appliance and the oor cloth can cool
down. Now you can change the oor cloth.
Do not turn over the steam mop when changing the oor cloth! Hot water may
emerge from the cleaning foot.
8. If the appliance no longer generates steam during the cleaning procedure, bring it into
a vertical position and switch off the steam mop by turning the On/Off switch to the 0
position. Then re ll the water reservoir as described. Turn the On/Off switch to the I
position and continue use.
9. If the cleaning procedure is completed bring the appliance into a vertical position and wait
until no more steam emerges from the bottom of the cleaning foot. Switch off the steam mop
by turning the On/Off switch to the 0 position and remove the mains plug from the mains
socket.. When the appliance has completely cooled down, please empty the water reservoir.
10. Before you use the steam mop again, always check the water reservoir for residual water and
completely empty it if necessary.
Care and Maintenance
Whilst being cleaned, the appliance may not be connected to a power source.
Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not rinse it off under running water.
Do not use any solvents or abrasive cleaning agents.
1. Bring the appliance into an upright position to deactivate the pump.
2. When steam no longer emerges from the cleaning foot, turn the On/Off switch to the 0
position and remove the plug from the mains socket. Always pull the plug and never the
cable!
3. When necessary, wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and, if appropriate, a little mild
cleaning agent. A decalci cation of the appliance is not necessary.
4. You can clean the oor cloth in the washing machine. The steam mop should be operated
only with the cloths manufactured explicitly for this appliance.
