Use
❐ Before using the appliance always check the fl oor cloth for wear. Do not use it if it
shows any signs of wear or if it is damaged! It could damage your fl ooring!
❐ During cleaning, make sure the fl oor cloth is fi rmly attached to the cleaning foot to
prevent damage to the appliance or fl ooring.
❐ Never clean the same spot for longer than 10 seconds.
❐ Never direct the steam at people, animals, or items containing electrical
components (such as inside ovens, fridges, at switches and lights, microwave ovens
etc.).
❐ Never touch the bottom of the appliance during operation!
❐ Caution! The cleaning foot may not be held in a slanted manner during use!
❐ After use, the fl oor cloth may still be very hot. If you wish to remove it, wait about
5 minutes for it to cool down.
❐ Put the appliance back into its storage position only once it has completely cooled.
• We recommend that, before using the appliance, you sweep the fl oor with a
broom or clean with a vacuum cleaner.
• Water residue in the tank can be traced back to the fact that this device has been
tested after the fabrication.
• To reduce the risk of material damage, the pump of the steam mop and thus the
steam generation deactivate automatically as soon as the main unit is in a vertical
position. The pump switches on automatically again as soon as you point the
handle and the main unit toward the fl oor at a slight slant.
• During the initial startup of the appliance or when you have not used it for a
longer period of time, it may take some time for steam to be generated after
activation since the lines of the appliance are not yet fi lled with water. Steam
will not emerge until the appliance has reached operating temperature and the
corresponding parts of the appliance have fi lled with water.
• To unwind the cable, pull at the upper cable holder and turn it around at the same
time to disengage it quickly. Now insert the plug into an earthed mains plug (220V
- 240V ~). The control lamp lights up as soon as the operating voltage is present.
1. Remove the screw cap on the water reservoir. Using the
measuring cup, fi ll cold, distilled water (to prevent calcifi cation)
into the water reservoir and screw the cap shut again.
Fill the water reservoir with a maximum of 370 ml water.
