Before Initial Use

• Unpack the appliance and accessories. Check the contents against the scope of supply (see

the "Scope of Supply and Appliance Overview" section) to ensure they are complete and have

not been damaged during transportation. If you should ﬁ nd transport damage, do not use the

appliance(!), but contact the customer service department immediately (see the "Customer

Service" section).

• Clean the appliance and accessories (see the "Care and Maintenance" section).

Mounting

Lay all accessory parts carefully on even ground. If necessary, place protective ﬁ lm underneath

the parts to prevent any damage to delicate surfaces.

Mounting the handle

1. Screw the handle pole (consisting of parts 1, 3, and 5, see the

"Scope of Supply and Appliance Overview" section) into the

guide provided for this purpose on the main unit.

2. To adjust the height of the handle pole, disengage the locking

lever (5), pull out the telescoping rod (4) to a length that is

pleasant for you, and re-engage the lever.

Adjusting the angle joint

The handle pole has a joint that you can adjust so that you can use the steam mop under

furniture or in other hard-to-reach spots without having to bend over.

1. Press the button on the handle to disengage the lock of the angle

joint.
