❐ Before using the appliance always check the fl oor cloth for wear. Do not use it if it
shows any signs of wear or if it is damaged! It could damage your fl ooring!
❐ Use the appliance only when it is completely assembled and operational.
Danger of fi re
❐ Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
❐ Keep the appliance away from fl ammable materials, like curtains, etc.
❐ Allow the appliance to cool down completely before storing it.
Caution in regard to material damage
❐ Do not use any caustic or abrasive agents to clean the appliance. These could
damage the surface of the appliance. As required, wipe down the appliance with a
dry, soft cloth.
❐ Never direct the steam at one spot for too long.
❐ Please only use the fl oor cloths recommended by the manufacturer!
❐ Do not insert anything into the openings/nozzles of the appliance and take care that
these do not become clogged.
❐ Store the appliance in a dry, cool room.
❐ Always work with suffi cient lighting.
❐ Never fi ll any cleaning agent, cleaning additives, or liquids other than cold, distilled
water into the appliance. This could destroy the appliance and safe working is no
longer guaranteed.
❐ Use only original manufacturer's spare parts.
❐ This appliance must be earthed when connected. Use only the appropriate plug. Do
not try to circumvent the earthing.
❐ Do not use the appliance on steam-sensitive surfaces, like leather, waxed fl oors,
synthetic textiles, or satin!
❐ Never fi ll the reservoir beyond the maximum fi lling amount. Only fi ll it with
distilled water. Using any other liquid can damage the appliance.
❐ Never operate the steam mop without water.
Warranty Conditions
The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage, calcifi cation, or repair
attempts. This also applies to the normal wear and tear of the individual components.
