Danger of injury
❐ Keep the packaging fi lm out of the reach of children. There is a danger of
suffocation!
❐ This appliance is not designed to be used by individuals (including children) with
limited physical, sensory or mental abilities or those without suffi cient experience
and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone responsible for their
safety or have received instructions from them on how to use the appliance.
Children must be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
❐ Keep animals and small children away from the appliance while it is in operation.
❐ Do not use the appliance in closed rooms with easily fl ammable or poisonous gases
and steams (e.g. paints, coatings, solvents).
❐ Never direct the steam at people, animals, plants, electrical appliances, or other
sensitive objects.
❐ Use the appliance only with suitable shoes!
❐ Keep the appliance out of the reach of children!
❐ Lay the cable in such a way that it does not pose a risk of tripping!
❐ Caution! Danger of burns! Improper use can lead to injuries, burns,
and electric shock.
Electricity – risk of electric shocks!
❐ Do not immerse the appliance and cable in water or other liquids.
❐ The appliance is not suited for use outdoors.
❐ Connect the appliance only to an earthed socked that is properly installed and
corresponds with the technical data of the appliance (see the "Technical Data"
section).
❐ Use only the accessories included in the scope of supply or recommended by the
manufacturer.
❐ Remove the mains plug from the mains socket if you are not going to use the
appliance over a longer period of time, before a thunderstorm, and before you
clean it.
❐ If you would like to remove the mains plug from the mains socket, never pull the
cable, but rather the plug.
❐ Have a damaged connecting cable repaired only by the manufacturer, the customer
service department (see the "Customer Service" section), or an electrician.
❐ Do not operate the appliance unattended!
Appliance-specifi c safety precautions
❐ In the interests of your own safety, inspect the appliance and cable for damage
every time before use. In case of defects, the appliance may no longer be used until
serviced by a specialist.
❐ Do not take the appliance apart and do not try to repair it yourself, but rather
contact the customer service department (see the "Customer Service" section) or
a specialist.
