2.1 MANUFACTURERS
A. Subject to compliance with requirements, provide products from the following manufacturer:

C. Specifications and Drawings are based on manufacturer's proprietary literature from United
Gilsonite Laboratories (UGL).
D. Single Source Limitation for Complete System: Obtain materials from a single manufacturer to
create a complete system.
2.2 MATERIALS
A. Water based high gloss sealer for concrete and masonry surfaces.
1. Acceptable Product:
a. DRYLOK
®
WetLook Clear High Gloss Penetrating Sealer.
2.3 MIXING
A. Stir thoroughly before application.
B. Color:
1. Clear
PART 3 - EXECUTION
3.1 EXAMINATION
A. Comply with Section 01 70 00.
3.2 SURFACE PREPARATION
A. Ensure that substrates are sound and free of dust, dirt, paints, form oils, wax curing compounds,
clear sealers, paint or other contaminants that could impair bond of the coating.
B. If efflorescence is present, Treat with DRYLOK
®
ETCH or muriatic acid and remove it by
pressure washing with clean water and allow to dry 24 hours.
C. Ensure substrate has properly cured. Concrete should obtain 80 percent of design strength.
D. Extremely smooth concrete floors must be acid etched or mechanically abraded to achieve
proper profile. Treat floor with DRYLOK
®
ETCH or muriatic acid or mechanically abrade to a
surface texture equivalent to IRCI CSP Rating of 3-4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry
24 hours.
E. If grease, wax or oil is present, remove it with DRYLOK
®
Concrete and Masonry Liquid Etch
& Cleaner. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry 24 hours.
