1.9.1.4 Modifying When to Send On-Screen Alerts
You can modify when to send on-screen alerts on all your connected Drobo devices, such as only
when the situation is critical.

In Drobo Dashboard, click the Dashboard Preferences option on the Navigation menu.
The Dashboard Preferences page opens.
2. In the Drobo Dashboard Onscreen Alerts area, ensure the Show visual alerts check box is
selected to enable this feature, and then modify your selection of one of the following options as
needed for the level of alerts you want:

On all useful information – All alerts related to the condition of your Drobo devices will be
displayed on your screen. These are Drobo Notifications and can include, for example, when a new
drive is added to or removed from your Drobo device.

When a situation is important – Alerts will display on your screen only to warn of an important
change to one or more of your Drobo devices that could lead to a critical situation in the near future.
These are Drobo Warnings and can include, for example, when you convert to Dual Disk Redundancy
on your Drobo device.
