APPLICATION
Always follow the wood flooring manufacturers’ directions for the use of their products. DriTac 8100 Tongue & Groove
Flooring Adhesive and all materials should be above 55°F with normal humidity conditions.
VENTILATION
Installers should provide adequate cross-ventilation during and for 24 hours after installation.
PRECAUTION
Keep From Freezing. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash
thoroughly after handling. Avoid breathing vapors. Use only with adequate ventilation. Harmful if
swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
FIRST AID
In case of eye contact, flush thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION.
In case of skin contact, wash affected areas with soap and water. If irritation persists, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
Remove and wash all contaminated clothing. If inhalation causes physical discomfort, remove to fresh air. If
discomfort persists, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.
INSTALLER RESPONSIBILITY
These directions are general guidelines for tongue and groove installations. It is the responsibility of the installer to determine acceptability of
subfloor conditions. Installation must also be in accordance with flooring manufacturer’s recommendations. Only items that are approved for
floating floor installations by the flooring manufacturer can be used with DriTac 8100 Tongue & Groove Adhesive. Floors installed with DriTac 8100
Tongue & Groove Adhesive are not warranted against damage caused by wet mopping, flooding, plumbing leaks or other extraordinary
circumstances. For any installation not herein recommended, contact DriTac Flooring Products before proceeding.
INSTALLATION
DriTac 8100 Tongue & Groove Flooring Adhesive can be installed using the continuous bead method. When using this
method, a water-resistant joint is created. Follow the flooring manufacturers’ directions for proper positioning of the
adhesive bead. Some manufacturers prefer gluing the top of the tongue and others prefer gluing of the groove. DriTac
8100 Tongue & Groove Flooring Adhesive is the professional installer’s choice for either method.
USED TO INSTALL

DriTac 8100 Tongue & Groove Flooring Adhesive is a premium wood glue that is specifically formulated
for all types of laminate and floating wood floors. DriTac 8100 can also be used over radiant heat
systems. It provides a superior bond at the tongue and groove. DriTac 8100 has a white color, which
makes it is easy to see for quick cleanup. It is non-toxic and nonflammable, making it safe to use and
environmentally friendly. DriTac 8100 Tongue & Groove Flooring Adhesive gives the professional installer
a very high level of protection against potential moisture problems, while maintaining a strong superior
bond.
Read and understand the data sheet completely before beginning installation. Follow industry standards
and recommendations for floor covering installation.
LIMITATIONS
DriTac 8100 Tongue & Groove Flooring Adhesive passes Type II water-resistance tests. Do not use for joints below
the waterline or continuous submersion. Do not use when temperature, glue or materials are below 55°F. KEEP
FROM FREEZING. Freezing may not affect the function of the product but may cause it to thicken. Agitation should
restore product to original form. Remove excess glue from surface while wet. Do not allow glue to dry as it will be
difficult to remove.
