to communicate with the same (renamed) tank. For convenience
when using the Multi-Tank status screen, we recommend that
the tank names not skip any letters, but this is not a requirement.
8. If the priority group setting for this tank is to be changed, it can
be done now. This is done by setting the priority group number
in the fourth digit of the configuration string (see Figure 48-1).
Note: The default priority group is 1.
9. Press the Next button until you come to the MT Group Capacity
screen. If this is a masterable tank, use the arrow keys to enter
the total capacity of all tanks from priority groups 0, 1, and 2
for the system. Capacity values for each tank are represented
in configuration string positions 6 through 10. Refer to each
humidifier nameplate for capacities. If this is not a masterable
tank, enter 0 for the system capacity. If 0 is entered, return to the

10. Press the Main button to return to the Main Menu.
11. Cycle power to the newly configured humidifier for changes to

LonTalk connection reestablished). It is now the only “1” on the
network.
13. Repeat steps 2 – 12 to configure the remaining tanks in the
system. Use the MT Status screen to select “1,” change the
configuration string digit three to “B,” etc. In this way, each of
the “1” tanks in the group can be renamed and installed into the
multi-tank group.
