Screw kitchen sink
faucet hose (we
unscrewed in step
7) onto the top of

union adapter
(clockwise) . Do
not tighten with
pliers more than
1/4 turn.

Ensure

union adapter
is closed.
Step 8
Screw
b
union adapter (clockwise)
down onto cold water shutoff valve. Do
not tighten with pliers more than 1/4
turn.

Twist cold water
source valve
clock-wise to
turn off.
Step 7
Unscrew
(counter-
clockwise)
kitchen sink
faucet hose
from cold water
shutoff valve.
Use pliers
carefully if
required to
loosen tight
connection.
