Policies and Procedures: Moving Policy
Deliveries and Moving
Tenants must receive all deliveries and are responsible for their shipments. Building personnel cannot
accept any deliveries for your company.
All deliveries and moves must be scheduled with the Office of the Building prior to the date of delivery with at
least a 48-hour notice. All loading dock reservations are on a first come/first serve basis. A Building Access
Request must be completed and submitted to the building management office at least 48 hours prior to your
anticipated move/delivery. Please note that loading dock reservation are on a first come, first serve basis.

Additionally, the Office of the Building must receive the following information in order to accommodate your
move in/out and deliveries:
Date of move
Time of move
Name of Moving/Delivery Company
Copies of Certificates of adequate General Liability, Property Damage and Worker’s Compensation
Insurance coverage from your moving company. Insurance requirements are covered in detail later in this
section.
Name of person from Company/Delivery Company who is responsible for supervising and expediting
delivery.
Tower 1 Loading and Unloading Requirements
The loading dock is located on the southwest side of the building. The loading dock is accessible via the
driveway located on Califa, midway between Owensmouth and Canoga Avenues. All hand trucks and
dollies must use the freight elevator. This equipment is prohibited on passenger elevators.
The freight elevator cab is 10 feet high by 7 feet 7 inches wide and 5 feet 3 inches deep. The maximum
weight is 3,500 pounds. The freight elevator entry doors are 8 feet high by 4 feet wide. The freight elevator
is accessible from the loading dock area.
Tower 2 Loading and Unloading Requirements
The loading dock is located on the northwest side of the building. The loading dock is located on Oxnard,
and is accessible via the first driveway east of Owensmouth Avenue.
The freight elevator cab is 11 feet high by 6 feet 8 inches wide, from panel to panel 5 feet 4 inches deep,
and door to door 6 feet 3 inches deep. The maximum weight is 4,000 pounds. The freight elevator entry
doors are 8 feet high by 4 feet six inches wide. The freight elevator is accessible from the loading dock area.
Tower 3 Loading and Unloading Requirements
The loading dock is located on the northeast side of the building. The loading dock is located on Oxnard,
and is accessible via the first driveway east of Owensmouth Avenue.
The freight elevator cab is 11 feet high by 5 feet 2 inches wide and 8 feet 3 inches deep. The maximum
weight is 3,500 pounds. The freight elevator entry doors are 48 inches wide. The freight elevator is
accessible from the loading dock area.
Tower 5 Loading and Unloading Requirements
The loading dock is located directly south of Tower 6. It is accessible via the driveway located on
Owensmouth, midway between Califa and Oxnard. This loading dock services both Towers 5 and 6. The
hydro elevator, which connects the loading dock with Tower 5, is 10 feet high by 4 feet 11 inches wide and 8
feet 7 inches wide. The maximum weight is 4, 500 pounds. The doors are 8 feet high by 4 feet wide.
The freight elevator cab inside Tower 5 is 10 feet high by 6 feet 8 inches wide and 5 feet 5 inches deep.
The maximum weight is 4,000 pounds. The freight elevator entry doors are 8 feet high by 4 feet wide. The
freight elevator is accessible from the loading dock area.
Tower 6 Loading and Unloading Requirements
The loading dock is located directly south of Tower 6. It is accessible via the driveway located on
Owensmouth, midway between Califa and Oxnard. This loading dock services both Towers 5 and 6.
