Velda Clear Control

The Velda Clear Control is a
rugged pressurised filter with
a range of unique features.
Inside the filter are a range
of bio media including
activated carbon, biological
substrate and foams.
The filter has a control
handle that can be set
to 6 positions:
1. Back flush, for easy
cleaning
2.
Back wash the valve,
to ensure proper running
3. Drain the pond, if you need to!
4. Filtration, for normal running
5. Medicine, bypasses the filter materials so that treatments are not
removed from the water and are more effective
6. Stop, for pump cleaning
The filter has two ports to fit either UVCs or Heaters, so you can increase
the UV capacity if you need to, swop them out for heaters in the winter
or have one of each. A UV comes with the filter.
Hose size 25-40mm
The Clear Control is available, with a UVC or as a complete
kit with the Velda High Stream Filter Pump (3 year guarantee). The
complete kit also includes 5 metres of hose and clips.

Just turn the dial from 'normal' to 'clean' and the water flow changes direction, back-
flushing the filter, and the foam layers are squashed removing dirt and sludge. The
dirty water is then pushed out of a second outlet, down the drain or into the flowerbeds.
