OPERATION AND USE
IMPORTANT
Check before plugging in that the mains voltage
agrees with the voltage specified on the rating
plate of the machine.
Before operating the router fit the dust extraction
outlet ✪✌ (Fig.2). Push the front edge of the dust
extraction outlet into the base ✫✌ and press
downwards until the back edge clips into place
(Fig.2).
SWITCH
The machine is fitted with a slide switch ✮✌.The
slide is pushed upwards to start (I = on) and
downwards (O = off) to stop (Fig.3).
WARNING
Make sure the switch is in the off position
before connecting to the mains.
SPEED CONTROL
In order to improve the machines performance
and provide maximum working efficiency on all
types of material, the R850V model has an
electronic speed control knob.
The knurled knob ❁✌ is mounted on the body of
the machine and is marked with numbers from 1
to 5. Minimum speed is at position 1 and the
speed progressively increases to maximum
speed at position 5.
Carefully choose the ideal speed for the work
that has to be performed by carrying out
preliminary tests (Fig.4).
The router must always be held by both hand
grips ✯✌ (Fig.3). The on/off switch ✮✌ must be
operated with your left hand.
