Most of our Workshop/
DIY chargers show the
condition of your battery,
both when first connected
and during charge. The fully
automatic model will revert to
a trickle charge so is ideal for long
term conditioning and the intelligent version is
also suitable for all battery types including gel.
LEAD ACID BATTERY
CHARACTERISTICS
If stored unused, they
will self discharge 1-5%
in a day - so in two
months you could lose 25% of its power or in
3 months over 45% of its power is lost! This is
without any form of current drain (electronic
clocks, stereos, car alarms etc.) The colder the
temperature the less power the battery can
deliver. Battery life is considerably reduced
with heat - either in use or during charging.
